About Us

Situated just 3/10 of a mile off Interstate 81 (Exit 80, Route 52 South), Fort Chiswell RV Park is designed with your convenience in mind. Our layout features large pull-through sites that allow any size motorhome to set up comfortably without the hassle of unhooking. Whether you are traveling over the summer holidays or looking for a reliable winter stop, our park is proud to welcome guests year-round.

When you’re ready to explore, southwest Virginia’s best attractions are right in our backyard. We are located just five miles from the New River Trail for spectacular hiking and biking, and only a mile from three distinct antique malls situated right on the service road. Head seven miles down the road to Wytheville for great hometown dining and shopping, or check out local favorites like the Fort Chiswell Animal Park, Wohlfahrt House Dinner Theater, Milwald Theater, and Blue Ridge Bobcats Hockey.

Back at the park, you can enjoy a peaceful stroll on our walking trail that overlooks Max Meadows, or cast a line in our catch-and-release fishing pond. From the heated summer pool to our 24/7 facilities, we’ve thoughtfully prepared everything you need for a comfortable, stress-free stay.

During the summer months, guests can cool off in our heated pool, and our on-site propane filling station ensures you’re always fueled up and ready for your next adventure.

    Looking for a comfortable retreat without the RV? We offer two on-site cabins that provide a peaceful night's rest. Each cabin sleeps two adults (no pets allowed) and is available for $100 a night plus tax.

Designed for ultimate convenience, our park features all pull-through sites that allow most campers to remain connected to their tow vehicles. Every site comes fully equipped with water, sewer, electric, cable TV, and WiFi to keep you comfortable and connected during your stay.
